Summertime

Anna Claire has been growing so much the past couple of weeks, and Tuesday will be officially 8 weeks old already. She is such a good baby, which we are so thankful for. Olivia broke us in good, so we are so happy Anna is the complete opposite, we thought for sure we were in for it again. She is packin' on the pounds, turning in to a plump little cherub. She is growing a nice set a cheeks just like her sister had, and still kinda has. She is sleeping bigger chunks at night, and has been smiling a lot! Nothing is sweeter that a happy smiling baby, paired with cooing.

Olivia has been as busy as ever....she loves playing outside, swimming, bubbles, coloring, looking at books, climbing on anything, running, jumping, dancing, talking.....basically a ball of energy that never quits. She LOVES her baby sister, and showers her with tons of attention. She is also still really good at bugging Daisy.

Olivia enjoying, I mean destroying a piece of cake. Apparently by her reaction she seems surprised by the mess, I on the other hand, was not! :)

We also had a visit from our good friends Nick and Steph, and their little girl Ainsley. They trekked across the state from Iowa City and visited us for a couple of days. We miss being able to hang out with them, and had a lot of fun while they were here. The girls loved playing together, hopefully we can see them again soon back in Iowa City!

They brought Travis this sweet snuggie for a gag housewarming gift, but Travis actually really likes it, he thinks its a great gift!!

We finally got our sod and landscaping last week, we are so glad to get rid of our muddy, sandy, dirt yard! Olivia loves it too, we are finding tons of toads and baby toads. She loves finding them, chasing them, and saying ribbit, ribbit while she's doing it.
